Accounts interns assist in all digital marketing efforts for a range of clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Copywriting blogs
  • Writing optimized content (SEO)
  • Assisting in basic HTML
  • Working within WordPress CMS
  • Analyzing web traffic
  • Writing and implementing social media calendars
Qualifications:
  • Junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, PR, journalism or a related field
  • Impeccable writing and editing skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic knowledge in social media
  • Some knowledge of HTML and WordPress
  • Willingness to assist will all aspects of the organization as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic

This is an unpaid position but may be used for class credit. Interns will be expected to work during regular workplace hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at least 15 hours per week. Work hours can be flexible for mornings or afternoons. Please remember, this is a 16-week commitment.

Internship Description:

Assist in all digital marketing efforts for a range of clients. Responsibilities will include preparing presentations, training materials, gathering data for marketing reports, analyzing Web traffic for reports and monitoring/working with a variety of social networking sites. Engaging with marketing teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns. Further, responsibilities may include participating and marketing events, new business outreach and market research.

Qualifications:
  • Junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, journalism or related field
  • Impeccable writing and editing skills required
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic knowledge in social media
  • Willingness to assist will all aspects of the organization as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic

Applicants should have a high attention to detail and be professional, self-motivated and organized. Interns work on projects right alongside the rest of the creative team and will be looked to for design solutions, creative concepts and the occasional brilliant idea. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing display ads
  • Photo editing
  • Website graphics
  • HTML coding
  • Video production
Qualifications:
  • Junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree with a major in advertising, graphic design or marketing
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (HTML and Flash is a plus)
  • Willingness to assist will all aspects of the organization as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
